CO2 SKIN RESURFACING
The MixTo CO2 laser at Bergstrom Aesthetics in Fargo is a carbon dioxide laser that is used for skin resurfacing. Thin layers of skin are vaporized using a high-energy beam of laser light. This creates a “tiny injury” to the skin: as the skin heals, it produces collagen as a natural part of the healing process, which restores your skin’s elasticity.

CO2 laser resurfacing is designed to minimize wrinkles, reduce facial scarring, even out skin tone, eliminate sun damage, and increase collagen production. When performed by your experienced provider at Bergstrom Aesthetics, CO2 laser resurfacing is typically a "one and done" treatment that will leave your skin healthier and rejuvenated in appearance.
MIXTO® CO2 LASER
HOW DOES IT WORK?
CO2 is a Carbon Dioxide laser that has been used for more than 25 years in the aesthetic industry for treatment of conditions such as fine and deep wrinkles, scars and acne scars, uneven pigmentation and dilated pores.
When the CO2 beam of light comes in contact with the epidermis it heats and vaporizes the skin tissue, instantly removing the superficial layers of the skin, scars and wrinkles while smoothing out the surface of the skin. The skin remodeling occurs with new skin and collagen growth.
